Love Island Australia Season 2 is now in the works, and it is said to be racier than its sister show, Love Island. The new installment vows to be much better than the previous season, and its cast will be better looking than the UK contenders.

According to iNews, an insider revealed the Down Under version's contestants are better looking compared to the UK Islanders. In an interview with Dr. Sam Hay, whose wife is one of the show's producers, he said on Kyle and Jackie O Kiis Radio Show the new season would be "twice as good as last year."

However, he cleared it was only mostly based on looks as they haven't had the chance to sit down and talk to Love Island Australia Season 2 contenders just yet. "So mostly looks, but they're hot. Both the guys and the girls," he added.

Hay even compared them to Tommy Fury, Lucie Donlan, and Maura Higgins, who are currently in the villa. Hence, the casting agents are all convinced that the 2019 lineup will be more photogenic, attractive, and eye-pleasers than ever before.

It is the reason why Hay seems to be very impressed with the new candidates so far. After Jackie 'O' Henderson revealed she is addicted to the UK version of the Love Island, the show's resident medical expert assured Love Island Australia Season 2 would be so much better.

Meanwhile, the show's producers are hoping to film the reality series' second season on the pacific island of Fiji, but the Fijian government seems to oppose the idea. They are concern about the series' "sleazy tone," so they want to block its production.

Hence, Love Island Australia Season 2 may move its filming to another location in Australia. Reports are claiming it may be set in Queensland, which is said to be a less toxic destination for the show, per Daily Mail Online.

Aside from the filming location, the show will also move channels. Last year, the reality show was on 9Go! Now, it will be aired on Channel Nine instead. In the UK, it could be seen on ITVBe, while its catch-up episodes are on ITV Hub.

The pop star-turned-radio host Sophie Monk will be once again seen as Love Island Australia Season 2's presenter. Of course, just like the original show, it will have its witty narrator with Eoghan McDermott. The new season is set to be out at the end of the year.
