In a couple of days, 13 Reasons Why Season 3 will be out to feature a new mystery with Bryce Walker's (Justin Prentice) unexpected death. Netflix has dropped the new installment's official trailer and plotline, along with its full tracklist.
The new season will have an eight-month time jump after Clay (Dylan Minnette) stopped Tyler (Devin Druid) from bringing a gun to the Spring Fling dance. Just like the previous seasons, the latest installment will also feature multiple timelines to show viewers what happened after the dance.
However, 13 Reasons Why Season 3 has a bigger question to answer: who killed Bryce? After the homecoming game, Bryce goes missing. But when he shows up, he is already dead, turning the new season into a great murder mystery.
Everyone is a suspect, although all fingers seem to be pointing at Clay. There will also be a new character, named Ani (Grace Sarif) coming to the series. Does she have something to do with the murder? Entertainment Weekly noted she would play a major role in unraveling the big mystery.
Meanwhile, Netflix recently unveiled the full tracklist for 13 Reasons Why Season 3. It will include brand new songs from the likes of YUNGBLUD, 5 Seconds of Summer, and more. Interscope Records earlier announced the show's soundtrack would be dropped at the time of the series' release, Alt Press noted.
There will be 18 songs on the list, composed of 5 Seconds of Summer's "Teeth," YUNGBLUD's "Die a Little," The Decemberists' "Severed," Cautious Clay's "Swim Home," Alexander 23's "Another Summer Night Without You," Charli XCX's "Miss U," daydream Masi's "Favorite Drug," and Daya's "Keeping It In the Dark." It also includes JR JR's "Young Forever," Drama Relax's "All That," K.Flay's "This Baby Don't Cry," Twin Shadow's "Walk Forever By My Side," HEALTH's "Slaves of Fear," Angelo De Augustine's "All Your Life," Hembree's "Culture," Frightened Rabbit's "Still Want to be Here," and Eksmo's "Ordinary World."
YUNGBLUD already unveiled the cover art for the new season's soundtrack on Instagram and even teased the song by revealing an excerpt. The digital album is now available for pre-order and pre-save, just click here.
