The long wait is not over yet. But it will be soon as Arrow Season 8 has now less than two months left for final preparations, filming, and shootings. While the whole crew is pretty much occupied for the show's upcoming season, some cast members can no longer contain the excitement and thrill that they have for the final season.
As any fan knows it, the eighth season will already serve as the final installment of Arrow. This is why there is a huge chance that more bombs will be dropped before and during the premiere.
According to Digital Spy, some of the bombs were dropped already. As it happened, Stephen Amell, who plays the role of the Oliver, revealed during the press tour that his nemesis, Malcolm Merlyn, will return for one last run.
The actor who plays the role, John Barrowman, confirmed the revelation. And as per the actor, the "beans" were spilled. But even so, he claims that he really loves working with the whole crew and cast of Arrow Season 8.
He also teases the fans that something huge is about to happen. And as much as he tries to be vague, he urges the fans to wait and watch instead.
His return on the show caused many fans to question how it will happen. This is in consideration of the fact that Malcolm Merlyn already died in Season 5.
Accordingly, there are now theories and speculations that he would obviously come back to life. Others, however, are eyeing an "alternate version" of his character. But whatever the case, this is not entirely impossible since these things are not actually to the dynamic of the Arrowverse.
Aside from John Barrowman's Dark Archer/Malcolm Merlyn, it has been also revealed that Adrian Chase will return to reprise his role. As well as for the character, Katana, who is also set to return on the second episode.
On another note, TV Guide has learned that Stephen Amell also claimed that Oliver's ending is very much satisfying on his part. In fact, he even mentioned that he liked it and he was pitching it to the production ever since.
But while some may already know what the ultimate outcome would be for Oliver, he shared that reaching the imminent end for his character will definitely be a roller coaster ride for everyone. Also, details about Diggle's ending are also hinted during the interview. And it seems that everyone is satisfied with the overall outcome.
