After his infamous dig at Blake Shelton during a show in Las Vegas a few months ago, Gavin Rossdale opened up about how he felt about his ex-wife Gwen Stefani's relationship with the country star.
Back in March, it was reported by the Inquistr that the rocker, who had one too many drinks towards the end of his performance addressed the crowd and yelled expletives against country music. Sources disclosed that this may be a dig at The Voice coach Blake Shelton, who has been in a relationship with Gavin's ex-wife Gwen Stefani for the better part of four years now.
Now that he's sober and calmer, it seems that the former Bush frontman has kinder things to say about Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's relationship. He expressed gratefulness for the couple's undeniable love and attention for the kids he shares with Gwen - Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, reported Pop Culture.
"I just always want her to be happy. You know, we both manage to feed them and get them to school on time, more or less!" he said about his and Blake's common effort to care for the kids.
He also said that his children have become very well adjusted to his and Gwen's divorce and are doing very well.
Meanwhile, wedding news just can't seem to stop trailing Blake and Gwen after the couple celebrated their fourth anniversary recently. It can be recalled The Voice coaches met on the set of the singing competition in 2015 as each were going through their respective divorces from their former partners before they began dating.
Blake Shelton ended his relationship with ex wife and fellow country star Miranda Lambert and Gwen also finalized her divorce with her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale on the same year. Blake said that he was lucky to find Gwen at a time that he hit rock bottom after his marriage fell apart.
In a recent interview with People, the country star said that while marriage news is unfounded, he finds them quite funny. He assured though that if the time came for them to tie the knot, he would not be breaking the news to "grocery store trash magazines."
"She's never not been supportive or a cheerleader, just the most encouraging person I've ever had in my life, on any level. It's unbelievable how supportive she is. I tell her this all the time, and she doesn't realize it, but Gwen's one of these people that I learn so much from, because no matter what the situation is, she has a way of looking at something from every angle possible, and understanding if there's turmoil or something going on, instead of just jumping to conclusions or reacting, it's, 'Well, here's why they may feel that way," he gushed about his lady love.
