After much speculation, it has been announced that BLACKPINK will be releasing a photobook of their adventures in Hawaii.
It can be recalled that after the Asian leg of BLACKPINK's Your Area World Tour, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rose were spotted by fans in Hawaii, and they were seemingly filming for a summer-themed project as they embarked on a series of activities in the island paradise. It has previously been speculated that the members will be using the content for a web show for their fams.
However, on August 29, YG Entertainment officially announced the release of 2019 BLACKPINK's Summer Diary [In Hawaii] which will contain photos and videos as they vacationed in the island after their successful series of performances.
Fans can get dibs to the album first by pre-ordering starting August 28 to September 8. The official release of BLACKPINK's Summer Diary will be on September 9 viaYG's online store YG Select. Record stores across Korea will also be carrying the product, reported Soompi.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently preparing for two Private Stage performances for their fans at the 15,000 seater Olympic Hall in Seoul on September 21. Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rose will return to the stage after close to one year after they kicked off their first world tour.
Fans have missed seeing BLACKPINK live in concert since the last major stage that the girls had on home turf was way back on November 2018 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena where they had sold-out performances for two straight nights.
After BLACKPINK's Private Stage in Seoul, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose are expected to concentrate on promotions in Japan with the release of their new album with the Japanese version of Kill This Love. This comes after their performance at the a-nation music festival in Japan.
On December 4, BLACKPINK will resume their the Your Area World Tour at Tokyo Dome Arena. The girls will take their act to Osaka's Kyocera Dome on January 4 and 5, 2020. The last venue of BLACKPINK's Japan Dome Tour will happen at the Fukuoka Dome on February 22.
BLACKPINK is also expected to make their comeback after they conclude their extended Your Area World Tour. It has recently been confirmed that Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose worked together with Ariana Grande's producer Tommy Brown on a collaboration. Tommy Brown, who was responsible for the hits, Thank You, Next and 7 Rings, made a stop in Seoul last month to work with BLACKPINK, reported All Kpop.
