Now that her eldest son Maddox is set to embark on his college life in Seoul's Yonsei University, Angelina Jolie is reportedly re-evaluating her personal and may now be considering dating again.

According to a report by Radar Online, sources close to the Maleficent star have hinted that Angelina has discreetly employed the help of a couple of close friends who are now on a lookout for potential matches.

The outfit claims that now that 18-year old Maddox has flown the coop, and with his other siblings eventually setting out for college as well, Angelina feels that there is a huge hole in her life that she needs to fill.

"She's been very emotional now that Maddox has gone off to college and says she has more time than she knows what to do with," the source was quoted as saying.

This does not mean that Angelina has taken her focus on her family. She has teenagers Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, and twins Viviene and Knox to care for at home. However, Maddox leaving home allegedly opened up the star to the idea of dating. Radar Online even shared the Eternals star's plan to kick off her dating project.

According to their source, Angelina plans to go on dates once or twice a week and see where it leads. It has been said that Angie was very affected by Maddox leaving home to pursue his studies overseas as he has been his mother's rock since she split with Brad Pitt.

The dating could present a bit of a challenge because of Angelina's confirmed involvement with Marvel Cinematic Universe's The Eternals where she will play the role of Thena. Jolie has earlier promised fans to go the extra mile given their strong devotion to the franchise and also shared why she said yes to the project once it was offered to her.

"[It's] just a really a love letter to Earth and very character-based, but also very, very big and we're going to expand a long period of time and try different things. I love the storytelling, and I happen to love Thena. She's very aggressive, and I like her, and I'm ready for that now," she said to IGN

Apart from her major role in the MCU, Angelina also expressed her desire to land a role in the Star Wars franchise. The star admitted in an interview that she even cornered director J.J. Abrams to volunteer for the part of Bastila Khan, a character from the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Inverse reported. Given that Disney owns both the MCU and the Star Wars franchises, there could be a strong possibility that Jolie could be hired for multiple roles. However, this would mean that she would be consistently busy with filming, posing a threat to rumored dating plans.
