Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) is doing all he can to keep the family's business affairs active in Peaky Blinders season 5. Amid all these, he is also trying to do his part to serve his constituents as their elected representative.

In Peaky Blinders season 5 episode 4, Tommy will have to decisively test the dangerous waters by agreeing to make peace with an old foe, as per the episode synopsis. At the same time, the leader of the Shelby family gang is preparing to throw a party for his lady love Lizzie (played by Natasha O'Keeffe), while arranging for Aberama Gold (played by Aidan Gillen) to come face to face with Mosley (played by Sam Clafin).

This might sound like a bad idea to put Mosley and Aberama in the same room together. However, Tommy has got a few clever ideas up his sleeve knowing that they have to keep Mosley at bay.

A plan has been hatched in Peaky Blinders season 5 episode 3 for Tommy and his group to make allies of Mosley as a way to infiltrate him instead of becoming his enemy. It suggested that Tommy might need to go undercover for the King as Mosley plans on forming and strengthening his fascist group.

Knowing how Tommy's mind thinks, there must be something else in store for the family to gain from this. Or, is he really kind of losing his mind from all handling and juggling all the things he has to take care of?

"I think [series five] is headed to political thriller and conspiracy thriller," Peaky Blinders season 5 executive producer Jamie Glazebrook told the media, per Daily Express. "We're now watching a character who is kind of losing it, which is very upsetting to see and we're seeing people on the wider scale lose it because of the financial crash."

Meanwhile, Peaky Blinders season 5 episode 3 had Arthur Shelby (played by Paul Anderson) actually going crazy and turning to a raging lunatic after Linda (played by Kate Phillips) left him and joined the Quakers. In a jealous fit of rage, Arthur attacked and killed a man who has become his wife's friend amid their marital problems.

It's still unclear how this marriage will hold up after everything that's happened between Arthur and Linda. With only three episodes left to Peaky Blinders season 5, there's bound to be a handful of action and drama in the next episode again.
