When Jungkook debuted with BTS in 2013, he was only 16 years old. Now, he is all grown-up and just turned 22 (23 in Korea) on September 1.
BTS’ success is unstoppable, and fans have devoted all their time and effort for Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. So when the clock struck 12 on September 1, ARMYs celebrated the golden maknae’s birthday in any way they can.
Some took the extreme approach, while others decided to keep it simple and just greeted Jungkook online. As for the fan site called Headliner, which is considered to be one of the biggest fan sites out there, they prepared something special for the birthday boy.
However, it seems that Jungkook was too busy celebrating his special day that he may not have seen the Headliner’s birthday offering for him. While this is not an uncommon thing to happen since Jungkook probably received a lot of well wishes during that day, the Headliner’s fan site master was so upset that the BTS star didn’t notice them.
“Jeon Jungkook, that psychopath f*cker. His birthday f*ck, seriously. Ah, seriously. I freaking want to beat him up. F*ck, is he crazy?” the headliner wrote in a leaked Kakao message.
The Headliner was so upset that they couldn’t contain themselves from cursing at Jungkook. “Oh my God. So many people prepared for it, how can this crazy f*cker… I swear, even if he gives me excuses, I’ll beat him up like a dog… F*ck, he didn’t even write anything during Billboard either,” they added.
The fuming mad fan then said that they shouldn’t spend money on Jungkook anymore. One user commented that the complainer shouldn’t spend so much money so they will not feel bad when an idol didn't acknowledge them. The Headliner then replied, “Yes yes. Just the right amount. What does it mean if I’m the only one doing this? This f*cker is always like that every day. Seriously, ARMYs can do better, Jungkook-ah.”
After reading the leaked Kakao message, a lot of ARMYs felt bad for Jungkook for getting the unnecessary hate. Despite the hatred that he received from an upset fan, Jungkook felt more loved than ever from the rest of the ARMYs, especially from his members, who sweetly greeted him on his birthday.
