On October 2015, BTS received a cake after reaching one million followers on V Live, which is a South Korean live video streaming service. South Korean celebrities use this platform to interact with their fans. So, reaching the one million mark was a huge deal for Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, especially because they only had been in the business for two years at the time.
This happened four years ago, and many probably forgot about what exactly happened at the time. But, one fan brought it up again. BTS is currently enjoying a two-month hiatus. And although Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are not required to interact with fans during their extended break, the eldest member of the BTS is still doing what he was normally doing before the hiatus — trolling the fans on social media. But, one ARMY is returning the favor.
The fan reposted a snap of the BTS stars from four years ago, where Jimin can be seen holding the cake, while the other boys smiled at the camera. The ARMY then asked why a piece of the cake was missing. (Check out the picture here).
The cake was missing a huge chunk on the right side, where RM was standing. This is exactly the reason why Suga thought it was the 24-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer who took a bite off it. “I, who thought, ‘it was definitely Kim Namjoon…,’ (RM’s real name) will reflect on myself,” Suga commented on the post.
If you look closely, Mr. Worldwide Handsome was eating a piece of cake at the back. Although just half of his face was visible, you can see who the real culprit is. (Check out the picture here).
Of course, Jin had a justification for his action. He replied to the fan’s post saying, “They told me it was a rice cake and [I should] try a bite… really.” And just like that, Jin confirmed that he ate the cake.
So all this time, Suga was blaming RM for something he didn’t do — or did he? It’s hard to blame Suga for mistakenly thinking that RM took a bite of the cake since his face looked like he was eating something. V also appeared to be eating something as well.
However, RM and V could very well be just making their cheeks chubby to make it look like they ate the cake. Since there is no evidence that they took a bite of the cake, as their mouths are clean, it is safe to say that their hands are clean. Jin, on the other hand, is very guilty.
This is nothing new to the fans, though. ARMYs know that Jin loves food so much, and sometimes a little too much.
