BTS performs in a sea of fans every single day of their tours all around the world. Although Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have always tried their best to interact with a lot of ARMYs, it is quite understandable that they wouldn’t remember all of them.
Even to just get a stare back is already a big deal for fans, so imagine when your idol recognized you among the crowd. For one ARMY, this came true, and the interaction is beyond adorable.
On June 1 and 2, BTS performed their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself shows at Wembley Stadium in London, England. At one point, V was staring at the fans, and then he suddenly noticed one attendee.
While most celebrities would just stare, possibly give a smile, and continue doing what they were doing, V decided to interact with the lucky fan. According to those who witnessed the whole thing, the 23-year-old singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor said “Hi. Yesterday? That was you? I remember/saw you.”
After saying those words, he smiled and walked away. And just like that, V gave an ARMY possibly one of the best moments of her life! Another fan took to Twitter to share an 11-second video of the incident. She also said that she witnessed the interaction between V and the ARMY. (Check out the clip here).
“Guys, he was talking to adorable ARMY behind me. I just wanted to share the sweetest moment with you guys!! He seemed like her remembered her,” she wrote. The video has racked up 2.3 million views, over 7,000 retweets, and almost 20,000 likes as of this writing.
The incident was certainly something to be remembered, not only for that one particular ARMY but for all members of the fandom as it was a proof that idols do remember their fans, even if they met thousands of them every day. This is not the first time that V interacted with an ARMY during the BTS concerts.
During their Chicago concert, V decided to give a young fan a little present, after he spotted him dressed up in a mini version of his “Anpanman” outfit. V knew it was direct support to him, so he made sure that the little boy’s effort will be appreciated by giving him his hat.
The lucky fan, who was later identified as Kash, then took to Twitter to thank V. “Thank you for the hat, and love you,” the young ARMY said in a quick clip.
