Ahn Jae Hyun released a statement through his legal representative, lawyer Bang Jung Hyun. The actor will file a divorce lawsuit against Goo Hye Sun, accoring to the statement.
The lawyer said Ahn Jae Hyun will personally reveal his thoughts after the situation is settled.
Lawyer Bang also revealed that Ahn is preparing to take legal action. "When his marriage with Goo Hye Sun is practically in ruins......We concluded that it's best to file a divorce lawsuit and have the court make the judgement through legal evidence."
The lawyer claimed that Ahn Jae Hyun's reputation was severely damaged due to Goo Hye Sun's "exaggerated and skewed" statements. "Untruthful information has become known as facts due to Goo Hye Sun's unilateral claims on social media."
The statement also shows that Ahn and his lawyer will clear up the various rumors, including his relationship with singer Jung Joon Young. The lawyer said he found there were no conversations shared between Ahn and Jung after he checked all of the conversations in the chatroom.
The lawyer also revealed that Ahn will file a divorce lawsuit against Goo. "Ahn Jae Hyun hopes to end his marital relationship with Goo Hye Sun through the divorce lawsuit......We also request to Goo Hye Sun that she stop spreading false information through social media."
Lawyer Bang also confirmed that the woman Goo mentioned on her social media is Ahn's ex-girlfriend, other than the actress Ahn is filming with. The lawyer asked Goo to submit the photo to the courts, "We hope that the truth will be revealed through an analysis of photo data records."
Ahn's lawyer said the actor's only option to fight against Goo's false claims and rumors is a divorce lawsuit. The lawyer also threatened to "take strong action against ungrounded suspicions related to Jung Joon Young, as well as rumors with a certain actress"
Goo Hye Sun has been disclosing her marital issues with Ahn on her Instagram. The issue began on August 18th and has been continuing until now. Goo brought up Ahn's alleged affair when one media outlet released text messages for two years exchanged between Ahn and Goo. She also wrote about the rumor of Ahn's affair with a woman in the drama he is filming with. In this way, she turned her criticism towards Oh Yeon Seo and Kim Seul Gi who are playing roles in 'People with Flaws.'
