A recent report from a tabloid claims Ben Affleck's pals believe Jennifer Garner will take back the actor now that he's sober. However, this claim was confirmed to be inaccurate, and the ex-couple isn't going back together.
Affleck celebrated his one year of sobriety back in August, and the movie star seemed to be doing fine now and continues his co-parenting his three kids with Garner. So, now, Life & Style magazine claims the ex-spouses might be rekindling their romance soon, and that the actor's pals think his ex-wife will take him back now that he's sober.
The headline of the magazine declares "Jen & Ben: A Second Chance At Love!", and the accompanying article talked about Affleck's road to recovery and how he's doing well now. The alleged source of the outlet contends now that the actor is doing fine and his friends think Garner will now give him a second chance.
However, as per Gossip Cop, it isn't true that Affleck's pals believe Garner will take back his ex-husband, and the only thing that's true in the story is that the movie star is healthy and committed to sobriety. A spokesperson of the actor also told Gossip Cop the ex-spouses are "very happy with the situation they are in currently."
While it's true that Affleck and Garner are on good terms, they aren't planning to give their marriage a "second chance." Also, the actress is dating Cali Group CEO John Miller for more than a year now. So, the claim about her alleged rekindling romance with her ex-husband is very unlikely.
Gossip Cop noted that Life & Style magazine likely published a fabricated claim to capitalize on Affleck celebrating his one year of sobriety. It is also worth noting that the alleged source of the tabloid pretends to know how Affleck's "pals" feel about the actor's relationship with Garner -- yet, it didn't even identify who are these supposed friends of Affleck.
Additionally, the same tabloid also claimed in April that the actor's "friends" wanted him to date either Halle Berry or Charlize Theron. And then now, the outlet claims his pals think Garner will take him back. Before that claim, the publication also wrongly reported back in February that Affleck's pals were allegedly concerned he's gambling again.
The tabloid is just making false narratives involving the actor's pals to make its claims somewhat believable. But, in reality, the Affleck's inner circle didn't reveal any information about the actor's personal life, and his rep assures Gossip Cop that this recent claim isn't true.
