George Clooney was one of Hollywood’s ultimate bachelors. So, when he announced that he was getting married, it came as no surprise that most of his followers were shocked. On top of that, the A-list actor was marrying someone outside the entertainment world, which is not that uncommon but quite a rare event at the same time.
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are going to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary in a few days, and a new report claims that the couple will be renewing their vow. That’s not all! Heat alleged that the actor is going to use the ceremony to get his good pal Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston get back together.
According to the tabloid, George and Amal Clooney will be renewing their vow at their Los Angeles home so that his friends would be a part of it. “It always upset George that not all of their A-list friends managed to make it to their first wedding in Italy,” the source said. “This will be a huge event.”
Heat, then, purported that, although the main goal of the ceremony is for George and Amal Clooney to renew their vow, the actor is allegedly going to make it a moment for ex-spouses Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston as well. “Everyone’s waiting to see if Brad and Jen will be seated together, given all the rumors they might reconcile. It would be just like George to put them together – he’s so thrilled that, at the very least, they’re friends again. But he’s all for any sparks flying at the ceremony,” the insider claimed.
Before the story got out of hand, Gossip Cop quickly slammed the report, stating that there is no truth to the claims. The site reached out to a more reliable source and confirmed that George and Amal Clooney are not planning to renew their vows on their fifth wedding anniversary.
Gossip Cop also noted that George Clooney is not trying to get Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston get back together at the ceremony, because there is no ceremony to begin with. The site, then, reiterated that all the claims in the Heat article were completely fabricated.
It is worth noting that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are fine with what little relationship they have right now. The ex-spouses are okay with each other, but not to the point that they gained back the relationship that they had before. Although the stars do talk, they only do it occasionally.
