Liam Hemsworth is, reportedly, still hurting over his breakup with Miley Cyrus. Reports say that he's reminded of their breakup constantly because of the PDA photos of his ex-wife and her alleged newfound love, Kaitlynn Carter.
According to Hollywood Life, Hemsworth is said to be quite bothered about Cyrus and Carter's photos and the fact that his ex-wife is spending a lot of time with the woman. A source told the news outlet that his feelings about the breakup of his marriage are still so raw that he isn't ready to date, much less fall in love again.
"It is going to take some time, and he is giving himself all the time he needs to get over it all," the source said. "Because he is not looking for love right now to comfort his emotions."
According to Cosmopolitan, Cyrus and Carter have been seen together just weeks after the Disney alum's split from Hemsworth. Carter also just broke up with her husband, Brody Jenner.
The two women have been sharing photos of their vacation in Italy on their social media, and one other news outlet had exclusive photos of Cyrus and Carter kissing and cuddling each other, like they were intimate and in love. Witnesses said that Cyrus and Carter were not even trying to hide their actions.
As soon as they got home to America, the new couple was spotted at the Soho House in Hollywood obsessing with each other. Reports of their frequent PDA, allegedly, pushed Hemsworth to file for a divorce, and as of early September, Cyrus and Carter have allegedly moved into the same house.
Hemsworth and Cyrus split up after eight months of marriage. The worst part was that the actor learned of his relationship's situation only when Cyrus' representatives announced their separation in the media, per Page Six.
Sources said that Hemsworth was blindsided by what his ex-wife did as he was in Australia when the story of their split broke. Another source intimated that the two have been living separately for months and haven't been wearing their wedding rings for quite some time. Thus, it was impossible for the actor not to know that an announcement was coming.
Both Hemsworth and Cyrus had been working to save their marriage privately before she started spending time with Carter. In the announcement of their breakup, the two supposedly promised to remain responsible parents to their pets since they do not have any children.
