Supermodels Irina Shayk and Stella Maxwell have been confiding in each other over their recent breakups. Shayk and ex-partner Bradley Cooper announced their split in June, while Maxwell and girlfriend Kristen Stewart ended their relationship two months later.
A story ran in the printed edition of OK! stated that, because of their recent relationship breakups, Shayk and Maxwell have started to bond. Allegedly, these supermodels have become inseparable as they leaned on each other or perhaps shared their sad experiences and sob stories.
But, Gossip Cop has debunked the tabloid story. Citing that there might be morsels of truth in it, some elements have been fabricated as well.
The truth was Shayk and Maxwell have always been close because they have been friends for a very long time. So, it's possible to assume that they have talked about their recent breakups with each other, but it's not why they are close. It's also possible that the tabloid ran the story of the two women together to capitalize on the fact that their personal lives are currently hot news.
Specifically, OK! may have thought that there's a bigger story between Shayk and Maxwell when they were spotted together. During New York Fashion Week in early September, the two were followed around by paparazzi after having dinner at Cipriani Restaurant, where they appeared to be in high spirits despite their heartbreaks.
Meanwhile, since her split from Cooper, Shayk has been dividing her time between work and her young daughter. Cooper, on the other hand, was rumored to be dating Laura Dern after they were seen having lunch together. But, the Big Little Lies actress reacted by saying that there's no romance between them because Cooper is like family, per Us Weekly.
"I don't blame anyone for having deep curiosity about his life cause he's spectacular," Dern said.
Maxwell, on the other hand, isn't dating anyone new but Stewart has moved on with screenwriter Dylan Meyer. Sources told E! that the actress is very happy with her newfound love.
While it's a fairly new relationship, Meyer's recent tweets suggest that she and Stewart are into deep and in love. The two were also seen holding hands at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Friends of Maxwell, however, alleged that there might have been an overlap in Stewart's relationship with the two women, per the tabloid National Enquirer. Then again, Maxwell and Stewart were constantly on and off.
