Ever since Meghan Markle joined the Royal family last year, reports about her and Kate Middleton not getting along have been making their rounds on the internet. Various sites and magazines claimed that the wives of Prince William and Prince Harry are not as close as they should be.
But, according to HollywoodLife, those reports about Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle not getting along are not true. The site said that the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex are actually “on great terms” despite rumors saying otherwise.
Kate Middleton has been a part of the Royal family for almost a decade. So, she knows more about the obligations and the ins and outs in the Palace than Meghan Markle. This is the main reason why the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex bonded, according to a HollywoodLife insider.
“Meghan and Kate are on great terms,” the source said. “Kate has been, and continues to be, a big help to Meghan. She’s very sympathetic to her circumstances, as far as joining the Royal family by marriage, so she’s always gone out of her way to make her feel welcome.”
Although Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s relationship had been attacked a lot of times, the new report said that the pair is closer than the tabloids made it look like. “Meghan is very appreciative. And now that Meghan is a mum, too, she and Kate have even more to bond over like her upcoming royal tour. Kate’s taken her kids on tour, so she had lots of tips for Meghan.”
However, a previous report had a completely different angle. Life & Style’s July issue claimed that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are “mothers at war.” The source said that, when the moms attended Prince William and Prince Harry’s charity polo match earlier this month, “Kate let her kids run around freely and have fun, whereas Meghan didn’t want anyone near Archie.”
Then, at one point, Meghan Markle, allegedly, told Kate Middleton that she’s a better mom than her. This, allegedly, upset the Duchess of Cambridge that she ignored Prince Harry's wife for the rest of the polo match.
However, Gossip Cop quickly slammed the report, stating that there is no truth to the claims. The site pointed out that just three days after Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle allegedly "at war," they were seen having a great time as they sat together in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.
