Good Trouble just concluded its second run a few weeks ago. While fans are still waiting for the show's renewal, it has been revealed that the show will return this winter. But, instead of having a new season, fans will get to see a Christmas special episode.
The upcoming episode is going to be warm despite the cold and freezing weather. As stated, a reunion will happen between Callie and Mariana since one of them left the Coterie.
Aside from sisters' reunion during the holiday season, the original cast of The Fosters will also come to the Coterie to celebrate Christmas with them. Although almost everyone from the show has already visited or made a cameo in the course of Good Trouble, there was not one moment where everyone was seen together since the last of The Fosters.
Fans will witness the likes of Sherri Saum, Hayden Byerly, Teri Polo, and David Lambert. And, according to People, the-now "heartthrob," Noah Centineo, will also return to reprise his role.
Noah Centineo has been a part of The Fosters from Seasons 2 up to its very end. He also made an appearance once on Good Trouble, which became very memorable in the eyes of the viewers given his no-shirt scene during the episode.
Many are convinced that his arrival on the show became his stepping stone in the industry. After his gig with The Fosters, he became known for his roles in Disney's film titled, How to Build a Better Boy and Netflix's Originals titled, To All The Boys I've Loved Before, The Perfect Date, and Sierra Burgess Is A Loser.
Today, it has been revealed that there are three more films to arrive in the next few months wherein he'll play integral roles, including the sequel of the To All The Boys I've Loved Before.
TV Line has learned that this will be the first time for the Good Trouble series to do a special episode. The teasers are out now, and fans can pretty much assume what will happen in the Coterie. It is also revealed that the installment will run for two hours.
For Season 3, no word has been given yet about its greenlight. But, since the special episode is getting enough attention and engagement, likely, Freeform will soon announce the official renewal status.
