Rick and Morty season 4 is coming in a few months, and fans of the animated adult series are excited to see the titular characters again. Adult Swim has been initially silent about the forthcoming installment, but the network confirmed the show's renewal during the San Diego Comic-Con. And now, details have emerged about the guest stars that will appear in the new season.

Creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon shared some details about Rick and Morty season 4; revealing the stellar line-up of guest stars in the latest installment. During the San Diego Comic-con over the summer, the show creators announced that the new season will feature Paul Giamatti, Kathleen Turner, Sam Neill, and Taika Waititi.

Adult Swim already teased Waititi's guest role, where it released a short clip featuring a new character, Glootie. The new character is trying to hoodwink Morty and Jerry with an app. Fans might be familiar with Waititi's works, which include Two Cars, One Night, and upcoming Thor 4. The comedian, actor, and director from New Zealand also starred in Avengers: Endgame as Korg.

Neill is also set to guest star in Rick and Morty season 4, though his role hasn't been revealed as of yet. But according to creator Roiland, who also voices the titular characters, Neill's role is also the same species as Waititi's character. The actor is best for his role in Jurassic Park and also appeared in Merlin, Event Horizon, The Tudors, and Peaky Blinders.

Meanwhile, Turner's role in Rick and Morty season 4 is also unconfirmed at the moment. The actress is known for her roles in Peggy Sue Got Married, Prizzi's Honor, Body Heat, and Romancing The Stone. Lastly, Giamatti is also joining the upcoming installment of the adult animated series. The actor starred in Billions, John Adams, and Saving Private Ryan.

There were also talks that Kanye West might be appearing in the fourth installment, but nothing is confirmed right now. But, both Roiland and Harmon are hopeful the rapper will appear in the series in the future.

As for the release date, WarnerMedia confirmed the new season will premiere in November 2019, but the specific date remains unknown at the moment. Also, the new installment will consist of 10 episodes, just like the previous two seasons.

In July, Adult Swim YouTube channel released a clip of one of the scenes in Rick and Morty season 4. The teaser featured Glootie (Waititi), who's helping Jerry to launch an app.
