BLACKPINK Jisoo is carving her own niche in the fashion industry as an emerging style icon. The BLACKPINK member has been chosen as one of the prestigious BOF 500's top models and muses of 2019.
The Business of Fashion 500 is known as a definitive professional index for movers and shakers in the global fashion industry, which has an estimated value of $2.4 trillion. Jisoo is one of the first KPop idols to be included in the list, proving her mettle as a trendsetter of her generation. Jimin of BTS was also included in this year's list of Models and Muses for his collaborations with Puma and Dior, E! reported.
Apart from her concerts with BLACKPINK, Jisoo has been collaborating with brands like Louis Vuitton and Dior Cosmetics and has been continuously on top of her game when it comes to style choices. In fact, she, recently, made her first official appearance at the Burberry Spring 2020 runway show last month, sitting on the front row alongside her Kiss and Make Up collaborator Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid.
Her appearance at the Burberry runway show brought a lot of attention to the event as BLINKs took to social media to share their excitement about Jisoo's participation. For her first time on the show, she did not disappoint with her choice of clothing as she wore a tartan wool jacket and matching mini skirt from Burberry's Fall 2019 collection. Unfortunately, a lot of fans thought that she would be walking the runway and were sad that she was only part of the audience.
Jisoo made up for it by posting a snap of her visit to Burberry's flagship store in London to support the brand in a simple but chic ensemble, Paper Mag reported.
While BLACKPINK's Jennie is the member that is more identified with setting fashion trends, Jisoo is not slacking off when it comes to public appearances, proving that she can carry off any look.
Jisoo, recently, appeared in a Dior event wearing a plaid green tube dress with a thigh-high slit. The BLACKPINK member wore her hair down and had minimal makeup to showcase her flawless complexion and her natural beauty. She complemented the look with an oversized belt.
She also looked amazing at a Cartier event with a simple black, and white ensemble and minimal makeup. Still, she earned a lot of praise for her stunning visuals and understated sophistication.
Jisoo, recently, appeared with members Jennie, Lisa, and Rose for BLACKPINK: Private Stage Chapter One in Seoul to touch base with Korean fans.
