The production of Outlander Season 5 is expected to wrap up before the year ends and, despite the long months of filming in several locations, the cast is clearly having fun on the set. Sam Heughan shared a new behind-the-scenes photo of the Fraser family and that it is all fans needed to ease the Droughtlander.

The photo features Jamie Fraser (Heughan), Claire (Caitriona Balfe), and their daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton) sharing a family bonding at their home in Fraser Ridge. The three are seen in the snap preparing beans, probably for Fraser dinner.

"It's all fun and games until someone gets...beans...," Heughan captioned the photo

Although Claire and Jamie don't look too old in the photo, the two main characters are expected to age more in Outlander Season 5 than in the previous season. Heughan was recently asked about how difficult it is to play a character that is older than he is. The actor told Parade that he is fortunate that he and Jamie don't have a huge age gap.

He added that ginger-haired like Jamie doesn't really go grey. Instead, his locks go blonder. Nonetheless, Heughan said fans will still notice the significant change in Jamie's appearance in Outlander Season 5 in comparison to the pilot season.

STARZ earlier dropped a "Coming Soon" reel for all of its show that is about to premiere and gave fans a glimpse of what is about to come from the network for the 2019-2020 season. At 0:32 mark, Claire and Jaime are seen embracing each other while the time-traveler nurse/doctor tells her husband, "it's time."

The reel doesn't offer much information about Outlander, but as the series' fans have already known, the American Revolutionary War is looming in Outlander Season 5. Heughan previously said the war would greatly affect the Fraser family.

Claire's words could be about the impending war and Jamie's decision on who to support during this trying time. The Fraser patriarch has pledged support to Governor Tryon (Tim Downie) in the previous season before he found out about Murtagh's (Duncan LaCroix) involvement with the Regulators.

At the end of Season 4, the governor tasked Jamie to assemble a militia that will put down the Regulators and kill its leader, Murtagh Fitzgibbons. In Outlander Season 5, Jamie will find himself torn between his loyalty to Tyron and the British crown, and his godfather Murtagh.

Meanwhile, Heughan and Balfe will appear at the Outlander panel in New York Comic-Con on October 5, along with co-stars LaCroix, Maria Doyle Kennedy (Aunt Jocasta), and David Berry (John Grey). Outlander author Diana Gabaldon will also join the group.

Outlander Season 5 is based on Gabaldon's fifth book, The Fiery Cross. It is scheduled to premiere on February 16 on Starz.
