The boy group BTS' J-Hope has landed on the US Billboard Chart. J-Hope was also named in the British official chart previously.
On October 7th, Billboard published a special article on their official website about Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G) released on September 27th by J-Hope. "J-Hope sees it debut at NO. 81 in the Hot 100 as a solo song featuring Becky G."
Billboard wrote, "J-HOPE set the record for entering the Billboard "Hot 100 " as the sixth Korean pop artist and the third soloist."
In addition, "Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G) was ranked NO. 1 on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, which is the second time winning after 'Daydream', the title song of 'Hope World', released in 2018.
J-HOPE has become incredibly popular worldwide after the release of music, ranking first in the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 69 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, France, and Brazil, and 82nd in the UK's Top 100 Single Charts.
'Chicken Noodle Soup (feat.Becky G)' is a new version of J-Hope's unique swag style. He reinterpreted Webster and Young B's 'Chicken Noodle Soup (Feat. AG aka The Voice of Harlem)' which he first danced with when he was practicing his dance.
American singer Becky participated in the feature, as well as in the music video, which became a big topic as a collaboration with the trending artists. The lyrics included three languages: Korean, English, and Spanish. The music video was joined by J-Hope, Becky and 50 dancers to showcase cultural diversity and popularity.
J-HOPE is conducting global promotion '#CNSchallenge' through TikTok in over 40 countries and regions at the same time.
