Just like most, if not all, well-known couples, Prince William and Kate Middleton, had been bombarded with cheating and split rumors. Previous reports claimed that the Duke of Cambridge was unfaithful to his wife. The worst part of all is that he allegedly cheated on the Duchess of Cambridge with her best friend, Rose Hanbury.
While all the Prince William cheating rumors have proved to be nothing but hot air, people couldn’t stop talking about it, and others were even convinced that the speculations were true. In fact, a royal fan shared two photos that seemingly proved that Kate Middleton was heartbroken.
One netizen took to online forum Quora to ask, “Do you think Prince William cheated on Kate Middleton?” One of the commenters totally agreed to the rumors and posted some photos of the Duchess of Cambridge looking miserable. “Below just 2 photos I found on a quick search, but back then she looked like this in every photo,” they wrote.
One snap showed Kate Middleton standing beside Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle. While the Duke of Cambridge, Duke and Duchess of Sussex had smiles on their faces, the Duchess of Cambridge appeared to look extremely sad and her eyes were puffy as well as if she’d been crying for hours or had sleepless nights.
The second photo showed Kate Middleton sitting alone, looking sad and lost. It also seemed that she was ready to burst into tears. People are so used to seeing the Duchess of Cambridge with a sweet smile on her face but, this time, it appeared that she was going through something tough.
What made these photos even more interesting is the fact that these were taken when reports about Prince William's alleged cheating spread like wildfire online. “If you look carefully at photos from that period, many times it’s apparent that Kate is actually mad at William and back then even when she was without him she had a defeated, exhausted look she never had before,” the uploader wrote.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the rest of the Royal family have never confirmed nor denied the cheating rumors. While it’s normal for them to ignore these kinds of reports, many are wondering why they won’t use their power to stop it. This led to speculations that this could be true.
The uploader of the photos then said that Prince William’s cheating scandal “has been actually silenced constantly from getting any UK media traction. It only resurfaces in online comments, in social media and forums on personal accounts and maybe in US, but never in UK.” The netizen noted that they believe that this is a sign that “the royal PR is making huge efforts to cover it.”
