People behind Lucifer Season 5 are continuously dropping hints about the last and final season. Recently, the titles of the show's first three episodes are already revealed, teasing what is about to come. Now, the writers' room unveiled Episode 4's title that involves a chicken, and it may have something to do with Ella (Aimee Garcia).

The writers' room first dropped a puzzling phrase on Twitter about the fourth episode that fans tried to guess. "I$ N#### E&&& W*** F"" T__ C@@@@@@," it wrote, along with a series of emoji, including a thinking face, an evil, a chicken, and a winking smiley.

The show's fans quickly released their detective skills to work out and guess the meaning of the tweet. Some said it might read "It Never Ends Well for the Captain" or "It Never Ends Well for the Chicken," and it turned out the latter is correct. What does the chicken have to do with Lucifer Season 5?

According to Metro News, fans suggested the chicken is an actual chicken that could be seen in the series. However, some think it could be Ella's bathtub chicken, Margaret. This started to cause fears among viewers, who warned the showrunners not to touch Margaret.

However, another fan suggested that if the title didn't pertain to Margaret, then it could be Lucifer (Tom Ellis). Executive producers Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich earlier teased in a Q&A even that a familiar face would return to Lucifer Season 5 now that Lucifer is back in Hell. The only question is who it could be?

Episode 4 may also finally answer the lingering question from the previous season. "Why did the chicken cross the road?" As Chloe (Lauren German) previously joked about chickens to Lucifer, and Ella herself owns a chicken, the chicken emoji in the fourth episode's title may have a lot of meanings.

Meanwhile, other Lucifer Season 5 episode titles are Episode 1's "Really Sad Devil Guy," which may be a nod to Lucifer's return to Hell after he revealed his love for Chloe. Episode 2, "Lucifer! Lucifer! Lucifer!" seems to hint at someone who will call the devil.

Lastly, Episode 3, "iDiablo," may be a reference to another devil. Will this be the new antagonist Lucifer has to face in the new season? Find out when Lucifer Season 5 hits the small screens in 2020 on Netflix. The show's Seasons 1 to 3 are now available for stream on Amazon Prime Video, while Season 4 is on Netflix.
