Kim Kardashian finds a new ally in the person of Wendy Williams. The TV host defended the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star against Kanye West after the rapper told his wife to stop showing her body in sexy outfits.
When Vogue released in May a behind-the-scenes video of Kim Kardashian while preparing for the 2019 Met Gala, many were amazed by how she perfectly fit on her waist-snatching dress. Many were also impressed when Kim said in the clip that Kanye told that he is just her plus one this year, and he will let her shine on the red carpet.
It turned out Kanye's sweet words on Kim are quite far from what happened behind the scenes, and it was revealed when KUWTK aired its episode that features the Met Gala. In the recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kanye was seen slamming Kim for wearing her skin-tight customed-made Mugler dress. He called his wife's dress "a corset is a form of underwear."
Kanye told Kim that she should stop wearing sexy outfit since he is on a spiritual journey. The "I Love It" singer admitted that Kim's outfit is hot and sexy, but he doesn't understand why his wife is doing it. Kanye added that Kim showing off her body has been affecting his soul and spirit.
Kim got outraged after her husband told her not to dress sexy. The reality star hit back and told Kanye that not because he is on a spiritual journey and transformation, it doesn't mean she needs to be in the same situation as him.
This is what Wendy Williams cheered about Kim. In her show, Williams couldn't hold her frustration of West when she replayed the KUWTK episode.
She expressed her shock over Kanye's remark about Kim's outfit and supported Kris Jenner's daughter's stand on the issue. The TV host stressed that Kim shouldn't let anybody take her identity, not even her husband. She added that the mother-of-four is just flaunting her strength that also helped her build her multi-dollar empire.
Williams also noted how Kim prepared for the Met Gala, and Kanye should have appreciated that. The showstopper dress of Kim required her to take corset-breathing lessons and keep her on her toes all night long because sitting down is quite impossible with the dress on.
Kim stepped into the gala in her stunning wet-illusion dress that was made by designer Thierry Mugler, one of the world's most famous corset makers. Kanye, on the other hand, was dressed in a jumpsuit.
