NCIS season 17 episode 6 is still a few weeks away but, within this episode, we'll learn more about Kasie Hines' past. This episode, titled "Institutionalized," will likely give viewers a little bit more insight about who she is away from the job, as well as the people from her past.
In the synopsis of NCIS season 17 episode 6, the son of a petty officer has been murdered at his "welcome home from prison" party. The evidence, however, suggests that the life-long best friend of Kasie, Dante Brown (plays by Devale Ellis), is the suspect.
Entering this episode, we're going to see Kasie's best friend getting in some trouble, and it could lead to several revelations regarding the past of Diona Reasonover's character. Dante gets arrested and becomes the suspect of a murder. So, what will Kasie do?
Will she help him clear his name or put him behind bars? Kasie is in a situation where she had to make the right choice. Another question is, why would Dante do this? Or, is he really the suspect? Also, how is he related to the son of a petty cop?
These are just some of the questions needed to be answered in the next episode. Dante will have a huge part in NCIS season 17 episode 6, and we could learn more about Kasie's past, as well as the relationship they had before.
Meanwhile, Ziva's next appearance in NCIS season 17 remains unknown. It's possible the cast and crew are keeping her next appearance a secret. After all, they kept her arrival in the show last season. But, as of yet, Cote de Pablo has not been back on set as Ziva David.
Some speculated NCIS could combine Ziva and a holiday episode into a single one. That only makes sense as bringing Ziva's family back together is a perfect theme for the holiday season. It feels like CBS is also planning to save a Ziva/Tony reunion for her final appearance since it makes the story more interesting.
A holiday special and Ziva's appearance make an ideal scenario and, with this, fans could get a little bit of everything that they want from the series. As per CarterMatt, the final episode of NCIS this 2019 could air on December 17, and we could probably see Ziva within this episode.
NCIS season 17 episode 6 will air on Tuesday, November 5, on CBS.
