Below Deck Season 7 Episode 2 titled, The Proposal, just recently aired on Bravo. While the episode should've been a romantic night for the primary guests of the Valor, given the nature of the event, the crew headed by Captain Lee seemed to have experienced a lot of drama during the whole course.

Michael set the whole charter for his proposal to Samantha. Quite amusingly, the crew of Valor needed to make this charter a much more romantic, special, and memorable for the couple.

At first, Kate Chastain arranges everything up to the very small details. She wants everything to be perfect, especially for the primary, Samantha's night.

Based on Reality Tea's quick recap of Below Deck Season 7 Episode 2, Kate primarily pulled Michael to talk about the proposal. And as per the publication's assertions, Kate's event-organization skills are pretty on-point.

However, not everyone on the Valor was seemingly up for Kate's plans. Things got even more complicated when Kevin was left with "suspicions" about Kate's "standards."

On the night of the proposal, things did not go well at first. Even the engagement ring accidentally fell on the leftover plate. Nevertheless, it still went well afterward as Samantha said yes to Michael's proposal. It was also seen that Captain Lee felt a little "emotional" with the way how the proposal went between the primary guests.

The group's first charter, all in all, went great. Although there were a few mishaps on Ashton's part, the proposal still ended up successful. However, Captain Lee pointed out that everything was great except for the service.

Kevin thought that Lee would "reprimand" Kate for the poor service. But, it did not happen. Still, Kate was unsatisfied, so, she went to Kevin and asked if they can work things for the better.

She also recommended for them to talk to the two girls of her concern: Courtney and Simone.

Meanwhile, Abbi wanted to prove herself being a junior deckhand. Ashton gave him a task, which at first, she failed to do so. Later on, he gave an "inspiring" speech that seemingly "moved" Abbi.

The episode, then, moved on to the crew's night out. While all the deckhand boys planned to impress Courtney, before and during the night out, it was not successful as Courtney remained the same with her wine and poker face.

Abbi saw Ashton with the other girls. She, then, realized that Below Deck Season 7's bosun is "hot." While the two woke up next to each other's arms with their clothes on, Ashton realized that he crossed the line given their positions at the Valor. It was unprofessional, he reckoned.

Below Deck Season 7 will continue with the Valor's next charter on October 21, on Bravo. The episode is titled, Weekend At Brandy's, wherein it's hinted that Captain Lee will be unhappy with the crew.
