Singer and broadcaster Kangnam terminated the contract with Dmost Entertainment and will continue to work independently. Now, the public is interested in what will be the next step of the singer.
The separation of Kangnam and Dmost Entertainment was first announced on October 16th. Kangnam terminated the exclusive contract with Dmost Entertainment before the wedding.
Ongoing distance between Kangnam and Dmost Entertainment was detected on October 12th when Kangnam had a wedding with former national speed skater Lee Sang-hwa.
The whole day, including wedding interviews, was conducted by Lee Sang-hwa's agency BONBOO ENT. Many wondered why nobody from Dmost Entertainment came to the wedding.
As a result of the TV report, Kangnam was already managing his schedule on his own after ending ties with the company at that time. His wife's agency also came to take care of some of Kangnam's matters.
Dmost Entertainment also admitted separation from Kangnam. "We decided to terminate the exclusive contract after the recent consultation with Kangnam," said the company.
It has been five months since he parted away from his agency. Many wonder why they separated but the company said, "We decided to terminate the contract in a way mutually agreed."
As Kangnam comes to the FA market, his next phase receives much spotlight.
Kangnam has appeared in various entertainment programs and revealed his unique skill and talent in leading the shows. As he has no agency currently, many companies will attempt to make contract with him.
It is speculated that he may choose his wife Sangwha's agency Bonboo ENT or Jina Entertainment where his stepfather Tae Jin Ah is the head of the company.
However, Kangnam is saying that he plans to carry out his own activities without any agency for the time being. It is known that the manager he worked with when he was in Jin Ah Entertainment is looking after Kangnam's works.
