The signer took a screenshot of one user's SNS account on his SNS saying, "Malicious comments are murder. Freedom comes with responsibility."
On October 14th, the news of Sulli's sudden death broke out. A series of events in the entertainment world were being canceled or postponed to express condolences on 25 year old singer who passed away at her house. Among them, many celebrities such as Oh Jung-yeon, Shin Hyun-jun, Hari-soo, Min-a, Jo-hyun, paid tribute to Sulli through their SNS, and urged the public not to post hate comments.
The Korea Entertainment Management Association also expressed their grief over the deceased singer through the official statement and said, "We will no longer neglect those who disseminate rumors, conduct verbal violence and post malicious comments as well as cyber terrors. Those evil actions will never be permitted."
Big Bang's T.O.P also publicly shared his opinion on malicious comments via his SNS. Many netizens expressed that they agree with the singer and encouraged others to avoid posting hate comments.
T.O.P has been communicating through SNS without performing any entertainment activities since his discharge from the military service in July. On October 13th, he replied to one user's comment, "Don't ever think about returning to the industry. Stop posting on Instagram and reflect on yourself." He then replied "Yes! God! I don't have any thoughts on returning. Just see animal pictures." It became talked-about-news at the time.
