Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux remain good friends despite their divorce in 2017. Although they are no longer together, the rumors surrounding the ex-couple continue. The latest in the rumor mill is that the 50-year-old actress is ending her longstanding friendship with Courtney Cox due to the latter's friendliness with The Leftovers star.

There are different versions of Aniston and Cox's alleged feud. In August, a questionable tabloid claimed the Cougar Town star only befriended Theroux to take revenge on Brad Pitt's ex for having a new show with Reese Witherspoon on AppleTV+. Allegedly, aside from attending, Cox is also planning the 48-year-old actor's birthday party.

In the same month, another publication asserted Aniston was angry at Cox for attending Theroux's birthday celebration. The phony magazine unearthed a series of paparazzi photos that showed Cox went to Theroux's apartment on his birthday weekend. Allegedly, the Murder Mystery star saw this as a "total betrayal."

In June, another paper published a made-up story about Aniston wanting to end her friendship with Cox after the latter left comments on Theroux's Instagram posts. The unbelievable story was only based on the photo Theroux posted where he was grilling some meat, to which Cox simply commented, "Nice BBQ bro!"

These made-up tales all came from different anonymous insiders, who seemed trying to ruin Aniston and Cox's friendship themselves. Gossip Cop debunked these claims, insisting Aniston's spokesperson even said these stories were completely fabricated.

Aniston and Cox's friendship is still as strong as ever. Her bond with Theroux is also always the same. The Friends star's rep also added the alleged flirtatious behavior of Cox toward Theroux is also complete nonsense. She also didn't plan his birthday party and not jealous of Aniston's new show.

Despite the malicious allegations against the three, both Theroux and Cox have no issues with Aniston. The moment the We're the Millers star joined Instagram, she was welcomed by these two.

"Woot-Woot!" Theroux commented on Aniston's first post with praise and heart emojis. The Morning Show host shared a snap of a group selfie, featuring the Friends cast, Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and, of course, her. The photo now has over 11 million likes, and it continuously grows by the minute, breaking Instagram itself.

Cox, on the other hand, shared their old photo with a caption based on Friends iconic line. "Welcome to the social media world... It sucks. You're gonna love it!" she wrote.
