The Resident season 3 episode 5 is still a few weeks away and, perhaps, this could be one of the biggest episodes so far this season since it would feature a plane crash. Here's what we can expect in this episode, titled "Choice Words."
In the synopsis of The Resident season 3 episode 5, a plane crash occurred in Atlanta. Devon felt guilty as he thought he could have prevented the tragedy. Perhaps, he's feeling remorseful regarding the decisions he made beforehand. But, why is he feeling that way?
Meanwhile, Dr. Bell, a passenger on the plane, has made a personal mission. He decided to save the life of the man who's seated next to him and he's doing everything he can to be a hero. We've seen this character occupied with other things than just being a good guy, but now, he will be angling for in this episode.
In another part of The Resident season 3 episode 5, Adaku (guest star Erinn Westbrook) comes back and asked Mina a big favor. Conrad and Nic, on the other hand, decided to risk it all and investigate a drug there's probably connected to the death of Jason.
It feels like this episode is one the biggest for The Resident so far this season. For instance, it would feature a plane crash, one that other medical drama shows don't usually feature. The series is bold enough to take things on a different level. While doctors were often seen within a traditional hospital, it's also worth seeing how they function elsewhere.
The Resident season 3 episode 5 will air on Tuesday, October 29, on FOX. However, according to CarterMatt, the episode could be moved into another date. There would be no The Resident episode airing next week because of the World Series. And if it goes long, then the fifth episode may not air until November 7.
It's also with noting the previous episode aired with a Halloween theme. It's too early to drop such an episode, but FOX likely anticipates the World Series will be a bit longer; thus, airing an early Halloween theme-episode. But still, it depends if there would be a game 7 of the World Series or not. So, it's yet to be seen if The Resident will have its early hiatus.
