The Los Angeles' SWAT family will come face to face with a drug cartel when Deacon and his family become the target of the dangerous group. On SWAT Season 3 Episode 4, Hondo and Tan will also deal with their respective personal problems.
The synopsis for Episode 4 suggests the SWAT has full days ahead. First, Deacon (Jay Harrington) and his family will be a target of a drug cartel. Hondo (Shemar Moore) will receive troubling news about his father while Tan (David Lim) will face an internal review board due to his girlfriend's poor judgment.
Hondo and his team will be working on a case to bring down the leader of a dangerous drug cartel. Unfortunately, Deacon's family will get caught in the crosshairs of the team's mission. Apparently, the leader of the drug cartel is a former head of a foreign rebel force that is running its illegal drug operation at a local flower market.
In a teaser for SWAT Season 3 Episode 4, Deacon, his wife Annie (Bre Blair), and their newborn baby are seen hanging out at a flower market. Deacon could have an encounter with the group at the local market. On the same night, the cartel sprays bullets on Deacon's house.
Deacon is seen running to his children's room to save them while Hondo can be heard telling someone that they have seen crazy days but things will get more insane when someone attacks the people that they love. Hondo is pissed that the cartel came after Deacon's family.
Meanwhile, the episode titled "Immunity" suggests an emotional family drama not only on Deacon's but on Hondo as well. Hondo will be dealing with his own family problem too. He will receive troubling news about his father. It could be about the declining health of his old man.
Hondo's father, Daniel Harrelson Sr. (Obba Babatunde), first appeared in Season 1. The SWAT team leader traveled to Oakland to help his sister convince their stubborn father to move to L.A. with them.
Harrelson Sr. is ill and can no longer live alone. In the upcoming episode, the health of Hondo's dad could get worse and his sister can no longer take care of him.
Elsewhere, aside from helping his team in taking down a leader of a drug cartel, Tan is also dealing with a personal issue of his own. His girlfriend will put him into hot water.
Tan will face the internal review board because of his girlfriend's indiscretion. The girl could have found something about Tan's job and she told it to someone else. SWAT Season 3 Episode 4 airs on October 23 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
