The Bechley family is getting bigger. In the upcoming Almost Family Episode 4, Julia finds another half-sibling while her father starts his volunteer work at the hospital.
Almost Family is set to return with a brand new episode after a brief break to give way to the World Series game. Ugly Betty actor Michael Urie will debut in Fox's new drama series as the new addition to the growing Bechley family in the upcoming Almost Family Episode 4.
Urie plays the role of Nate, a restaurant owner who helps the sisters secure seats at one of the most exclusive places in New York. However, the episode synopsis hinted that the sisters' dinner will not go as planned.
It seems like Julia (Brittany Snow) will do something that will upset her half-sisters, Roxy and Edie (Megalyn Echikunwoke). Apparently, Julia will be forced to apologize to the two.
Meanwhile, Eddie and Tim (Mo McRae) will talk about starting their own family but the former is conflicted about where she stands. Eddie has personal issues that she has been dealing with. Aside from her marriage is on the rocks because of her having an affair with Amanda (Victoria Cartagena), she also found something new about his father and her childhood.
In the previous episode, Dr. Leon Bechley (Timothy Hutton) confessed to Eddie that he kept track of her when she was young. She also found out from her mother that the scholarship that she believed she won is not true. It was actually paid by her father.
Speaking of Dr. Beckley, the sperm-donor doctor begins his volunteer work at a hospital after he was released from house arrest. Leon will find another Bechley baby in the hospital.
Elsewhere, retired Olympic athlete Roxy (Emily Osment) spends time with her gymnastics protégé, 11-year-old Izzy (Bryce Lorenzo), while tensions with her parents Ron (Timothy Busfield) and Diane (Victoria Clark) rise in all-new level. In the previous episode, Roxy promised Izzy that she will help the young gymnast to pursue her dream.
Almost Family follows the lives of Beckley sisters as they find their other siblings to fertility doctor Leon Bechley, who had used his own sperm to conceive at least 100 children throughout his career. So far, Julia, who grew up with Leon, found and unite with her half-siblings Edie and Roxy.
Almost Family airs Wednesdays at 9 pm ET/PT on Fox. Episode 4 will be out on October 30.
