The Droughtlander is real, but the cast of Outlander made sure to ease the thirst by sharing some of their favorite episodes and scenes in the series. Sam Heughan, Catriona Balfe, Sophie Skelton, Cesar Domboy, and Lauren Lyle have talked about their most unforgettable moments in the Starz drama.

Heughan, who plays the role of ginger-haired Highlander Jamie Fraser, revealed that his favorite episode is the epic pilot of the series. The actor said there are so many great episodes in Outlander, but the first one is the most memorable for him as this is the time when the viewers met his character as well as Claire (Balfe) and Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies).

In the said episode, fans also watched how the World War II nurse Claire Randall in the 20th century got to back in time through the standing stones at Scotland's Craigh na Dun. In the 18th century, Claire met her future second husband, Jamie. The episode is titled "Sassenach," which means a foreigner, but later on, it became Jamie's term of endearment to Claire.

As for Balfe, her personal favorite episode is "Faith" in Season 2. It was an emotional episode not only to Claire and Jamie. However, many viewers also shed tears when it aired as this is the episode where the Frasers lost their first child, which they named Faith. Balfe said it was a moving episode that touches the hearts of their fans.

On-screen couple Cesar Domboy (Fergus) and Lauren Lyle (Marsali) also shared their favorite episode of Outlander. For the two, their favorite episode is "Uncharted" from Season 3. It featured Fergus and Marsali's wedding by the beach.

Domboy added that they also filmed the episode in South Africa where dolphins are jumping in and out of the sea while they shoot scenes. The actor said it was a surreal moment for him.

Meanwhile, Sophie Skelton also has her own fav moment in Outlander. For her, the most heartwarming episode of her character, Brianna, is when she told her mother, Claire, about her emotional trauma. In the episode, Bree revealed to her mother that she was raped by Stephen Bonnet (Edward Speleers) and that she is pregnant, possibly of the pirate's child.

Skelton added "The Birds & The Bees" episode was also the first time that Jamie, Claire, Brianna, Murtagh, and Young Ian were all together in one scene. The actress said the characters shared a laugh, which is quite rare in series.

Heughan, Balfe, Skelton, Domboy, and Lyle are all set to return in the fifth installment of the time-travel series. Outlander Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on February 16, 2020.
