Katie Holmes is keeping her cool amidst rumors that she is having a breakdown over the alleged plan of her ex-husband Tom Cruise to come back into their daughter's life. Reports that the Dawson Creek actress is in an emotional crisis has been proven to be false.
Jamie Foxx's ex-ladylove, allegedly, intends to keep her daughter's private life as it is and is not planning to make it complicated because of Tom Cruise. Speculations emerged that Holmes, recently, had a meltdown after finding out that her ex-husband sent an email to their daughter Suri, asking her for a meet up in New York City. Allegedly, this bring back Holmes' painful memories with her former husband.
The Mission Impossible actor and his 13-year-old daughter have been estranged for six years now. The two lost contact after Holmes removed Suri from Scientology, following her divorce from Cruise in 2012.
In the latest issue of NW tabloid with the headline "Katie Melts Down As Tom Gets Suri Back!," the tabloid claimed the Ray Donovan actress is suffering from an "emotional crisis" due to Cruise's email to Suri. In the email, the actor, reportedly, told his daughter that he wants to make it up to her and asking if they could see each other in NYC.
It also claimed that Suri is very happy to hear from her dad. The teen is, reportedly, excited to see him and having the Top Gun star back in her life. NW claimed that Holmes opposes the reunion and she is always in tears because of fear of the possibility of seeing Cruise on a daily basis.
The NW story stemmed from the recent Star article that Holmes, allegedly, helping to set up a meeting between Cruise and Suri. Apparently, the Batman Begins star is being supportive of the meeting because she could see how happy Suri is being in touch with her father and on the possibility of reuniting with him again.
Gossip Cop has debunked both NW and Star stories. The publication cited Holmes' spokesperson confirming that all of these are fabricated stories.
The actress' rep stressed that Holmes is not organizing any sort of reunion between Suri and Cruise as there are no online exchanges between the two in the first place. This means Holmes is doing fine with her daughter and also not having a meltdown or in an emotional crisis.
