Former YG General Producer Yang Hyun-suk, accused of intimidating informants to cover drug suspicions of his singer, is expected to be summoned this weekend.

The police are also considering applying for a warrant for a crime because the charges are serious.

As the former representative Yang refused to be summoned yesterday due to the surrounding reporters, it is possible that he will be summoned again privately during the day to avoid media attention.

Police officials say they will summon former representative Yang as soon as possible.

The police are planning to investigate Yang and also considering to apply for a warrant.

However, since it is in the early stages of investigation, they are focusing on investigating the facts.

There are three charges that Yang receives.

First, Yang allegedly threatened a whistleblower who reported the former member of iKON, B.I to have taken drugs. Yang attempted to coerce the informant by threat.

In 2016, B.I's acquaintance A was being investigated due to his drug charge. During the questioning, he referred to B.I to have also purchased drugs. It is suspected that Yang intervened and ultimately made A to change his statement.

In return, Yang is also suspected of paying lawyer fees for Mr. A, who is not a member of YG.

This is the second charge of business breach.

Yang's involvement led B.I to avoid police investigations, which adds the charges of attempts to make the suspect flee.

The police considers Yang's charges are grave and will apply for a warrant.
