In 'TV With Love', a singer, Yoo Hyun Sang, released his dramatic love story with his wife, Choi Yun Hee, a former swimmer.
On November 8th, Yoo Hyun Sang made his appearance on KBS1 show, 'TV With Love', which aired on the evening, and searched for Lee Ki Jong, a reporter who helped his dating Choi Yun Hee.
Yoo is a vocalist of the band Baekdusan and is currently active as a trot singer. His secret marriage with Choi Yun Hee, the world's top class swimmer in the past, had brought various rumors like, 'Kidnapping'.
The two had a quiet wedding on June 6, 1991, when Choi Yun Hee was 25 years old. Yoo Hyun Sang was 38 years old when he was married to Choi. This secret marriage was inevitable to the couple because of the strong opposition of Choi's parents. It was Lee Ki Jong who helped their marriage at the moment.
Yoo Hyun Sang recalled, "I worked as a producer for the singer Lee Ji Yeon. I met the reporter Lee during that time. I asked his counselling over the phone when it was 5 days before the wedding. On the phone call, he asked me, 'Are you confident that you will take care of her and build happy marriage?' And then, he helped prepare my wedding."
Two comedians, Yoon Jung-soo and Kim Yong-man, were surprised to hear who the reporter was. Lee was a well-known reporter who reported many special news such as Seo Taiji's past marriage news.
Yoo Hyun Sang said, "The reporter Lee prepared quietly for the wedding, scheduling the date and places for a wedding hall, a wedding reception, and even guest invitations." Lee invited the two and famous guests to the temple where a singer Cho Yong Pil was married and the ceremony began.
Yoo said, "My wife had left her house saying that she would go to an academy to study, and I also made up my story. I am terribly sorry to her that the marriage was not blessed by her family."
