The genuine friendship between Fin.K.L's Lee Hyori and Girls' Generation YoonA did not end with the filming of Hyori's Homestay 2. The pair recently reunited with Hyori's husband, Lee Sang Soon, and shared a clip of their funny interaction on Instagram.
According to a report by All Kpop, Hyori posted a clip of YoonA goofing around as she danced to Fin.K.L's 2000 track Feel Your Love. The caption simply read: YoonA's Feel Your Love. However, it was the funny reaction to YoonA's dancing that earned fans' attention.
In the background, Hyori and Lee Sang Soon were overhead laughing their heads off and asking YoonA why she was so funny. As soon as the video was posted, Girls' Generation Sooyoung immediately posted that she was good at dancing FIN.K.L's NOW. Hyori said that she would invite Sooyoung next time to showcase her dancing prowess, too.
Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon developed a strong friendship with YoonA last year when she appeared as the part-time worker for the couple's reality show, Hyori's Homestay. It can be recalled that the couple even prepared a special farewell gift to YoonA before she filmed her last episode in May, last year.
According to a report by Soompi, the couple planned their surprise for YoonA long before she was scheduled to leave their home. They conspired to produce the music video to show YoonA how beautiful she was.
On the last day of the show, Hyori and Lee Sang Soon led YoonA up the stairs to show her the video, which showed the Girls' Generation member in a sequence of photos while she was working at the homestay. The video used Bruno Mars' Just the Way You Are for the background, which summed up the couple's message for their good friend.
The video brought YoonA to tears, especially when she found out that the couple worked hard to make the video together. She said that she was unaware that Hyori was taking pictures of her for the video and that Lee Sang Soon edited the video by himself.
"He learned it. He learned it to make your video and then used his skills to make his own video," Hyori said when her husband was explaining how they produced the video.
The first season of Hyori's Homestay on JTBC featured IU as the pat time worker while YoonA and Park Bo Gum worked part-time on the show for its second season.
