The American Music Awards is fastly approaching. In just a few days, the world will finally witness this year's awardees and winners within today's music industry. But, among all the artists and singers, Taylor Swift is likely the one who is preparing the most for the event. As it happens, she is named as the Artist of the Decade.

According to Celebrity Insider, fans, especially the Swifties, are looking forward to her performance on the upcoming event. Since she is to receive the biggest award of the night, she is reported to "make a statement" during her performance.

Considering that her award celebrates her ten years in the music industry, it only fits that she chooses to perform a medley of her songs that were released since the beginning of her career.

As per sources, it will be a "performance of a lifetime" for Taylor Swift. So, there is no doubt that she will make a big deal out of her performance.

It was also shared that Taylor is "humbled" to receive the Artist of the Decade award. Accordingly, she wants to show her "appreciation" to all her fans and supporters by making a "mark" during the night.

While many are excited to witness Taylor Swift's way to honor the award, complications started to emerge when the Lover artist revealed that her feud with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta is stopping her from executing her performance plans.

As reported by Vanity Fair, Taylor Swift recently revealed through various social media platforms that her former label, Big Machine, along with its heads, Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta, is preventing her from playing her songs on the night of the event. The reason being is that Big Machine allegedly considers it as a form of "re-recording."

It is worth noting that she already made a deal with her former recording label regarding the re-recording of her previous masters and catalogs. It was said that Taylor Swift is allowed to do it, but will need to wait until next year to start the re-recording.

Upon revealing the apparent complications, and calling out of help from various artists in the industry, Taylor's statements have intensified the ongoing feud between her and the heads of Big Machine.

However, Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta recently released a statement that refutes Taylor's claims. It was also noted that they do not have the right to keep her from performing her previous tracks live anywhere.

In the end, no one really knows what is happening with the two parties. Nevertheless, Taylor Swift will undoubtedly treat the awards night as her best moment throughout her career.

The 2019 American Music Awards will be held on Nov. 24, in Los Angeles.
