Meghan Markle and Prince Harry marked the second anniversary of their engagement with a sweet post on Instagram. The royal couple shared some snaps from the three important events of their lives - their engagement, royal wedding, and the birth of their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Sussexes got engaged on Nov. 27, 2017. To mark the celebration, they shared three photos, including a black-and-white snap from their wedding. The two were very happy on their wedding day. They were laughing together while holding each other close.

"On this day, two years ago: 27th of November 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the news of their engagement, later becoming Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex!" the caption read. "They have since celebrated their wedding anniversary and welcomed their son, Archie, into the world."

The first snap showed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they announced their engagement. The Duke of Sussex looked dapper in his navy suit, white polo, and black tie. The Duchess of Sussex, on the other hand, looked lovely in her white coat.

According to Express, the photo shoot was held in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, which was Princess Diana's favorite place. Their engagement was announced by Prince Charles, who also said that their wedding would take place in the following spring.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got engaged in London. His Royal Highness told Queen Elizabeth II about it, and other close members of the royal family. The prince also asked for the blessing of the former actress' parents to marry their daughter, and he gladly received it.

USA Today added that the lovely pair made history when they got engaged after dating for a year. However, the first six months of their relationship was hidden to the public.

Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle with a bespoke ring he designed himself. The band, which is made of gold, has three stones. The outer two diamonds were from the personal collection of his late mother, while the middle diamond was from Botswana, the country that he loves the most. Cleave and Company, Queen Elizabeth's court jewelers and medalists, made the ring.

They got wedded in May 2018 and were announced to live in Nottingham Cottage on the Kensington Palace. However, they moved to Frogmore Cottage on Windsor Estate in November 2018. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first child, Archie, on May 6. He was later introduced to the world several days after birth.
