Kate Middleton has been known to love outdoor pursuits. As it happens, the duchess is a "sporty," who also turn into different kinds of physical activities.

The same is also true for Prince William, who has been exposed to different kinds of physical routines and sports. This is why it is not surprising when their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, develop their interests over such activities.

According to Daily Express, the Cambridge couple "ensures" their kids to have enough exposure to different activities, especially on sports. One source even claimed that the three young royals are now fond of swimming.

Earlier this week, and on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William reportedly conducted an "investiture ceremony" at Buckingham Palace. It was stated that the Duke of Cambridge "honored" several British individuals. These included the popular swimmer, Eileen Fenton, who became the first woman to finish the English Channel race in the 50s. She was said to receive an MBE for voluntary services to swimming.

After receiving the honor, Eileen Fenton shared with the Press Association that she also received an "insight" about the Kate Middleton and Prince William's life, together with the three young royals. Based on claims, the Duke of Cambridge told her that they are a "family of swimmers."

It was further contended that the prince also revealed that he and his wife, Kate Middleton, always take time to swim with their three kids. They are "quite well" with it, the source continued.

The publication noted that several reports earlier this year revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge had been spotted with Prince George and Princess Charlotte in one of their swimming sessions. It was also shared that the two young royals swam "unaided" as they were "confident."

Eileen Fenton continued to share her thoughts with the press and recalled that Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret were always spotted swimming in the late 30s and early 40s. So, it only fits as to why Prince William deemed his family as a "family of swimmers."

But, aside from swimming, Daily Mail recently reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton are also encouraging tennis to the young royals.

As revealed by the publication, the duke and duchess discussed how Prince George and Princess Charlotte are doing in the said sport with Novak Djokovic after the Wimbledon Final. Football is also in the talks with the Cambridge couple, along with their kids, the source added.
