Mr. Wainwright called Alisha as a "free-spirited" woman and just living her life. He added that he doesn't see anything wrong with Alisha and Justin's interaction, saying that the outrage over the incident is a total "hoopla!"
"I did not make anything of it, really. I am a music producer, so I am used to all the hoopla. This is the business we are in. This is how it goes," he said.
Wainwright said he knows Alisha is a very good daughter, and Timberlake's wife, Jessica Biel, has nothing to worry about. When asked if he knows who Alisha is dating at the moment, Jeff admitted that he wouldn't know it.
He explained that in the entertainment world, when the actor or actress goes home to his family, they never talked about work. Mr. Wainwright also expressed confidence in Alisha's judgment, saying she is an open-minded person. He stressed that his daughter is in NOLA to work and nothing more.

Biel was spotted in Los Angeles this week after the scandal broke out over the weekend. Reports indicate that she appeared to be in good spirits as she made her way through a parking garage. The 7th Heaven actress is also wearing her engagement ring as well as her wedding band.
