It has been more than six months now since Meghan Markle gave birth to Archie Harrison. As first-time parents, the duchess and her husband, Prince Harry, will sure face struggles and challenges along the way. Even so, sources from various reports claimed that the Sussex couple has their preferences in terms of raising their firstborn.

According to The Sun UK, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly raise Archie as a "gender fluid" baby. It was also shared that they will not "impose" any stereotype.

The sources stated, however, that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not specifically mention this notion. But, the words "fluid" and "gender approach" were noted by the royals.

It is also unknown as to how the Sussex couple will do this with Archie Harrison. Nevertheless, the publication speculated that they might not allow Archie to wear blue or pink pieces of clothing to avoid the he-she "associations." In terms of toys, the new parents might provide much wider varieties for their firstborn, including "dolls and trucks."

While the sources are pretty fixed on these speculations and thoughts, no confirmation has been heard from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. So, no one knows for sure if they will truly raise Archie in a fluid approach to gender.

Aside from the preferences on gender approach, Reader's Digest published a piece about the matter. Based on the report, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also have several other preferences when it comes to raising Archie Harrison.

Just like how Meghan Markle was raised, it was revealed that Archie would also receive the same environment: the Californian way. The reason being is that Meghan is reportedly a "California girl at heart" even after becoming a royal. Hence, it is just fitting to raise her son in a "very Californian way", the source added.

This might include a keener eye towards "natural and organic" ingredients to products. This is probably the reason why the duchess was said to choose vegan-friendly and "chemical-free products" for the nursery at Frogmore Cottage.

As added by the report, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also want to provide baby Archie the "modern love." So, everyone must expect that the Sussex couple will likely break several royal traditions and protocols in doing this as they want their baby to grow up with an "open mind," the source explained.

Some reports also stated that the royal couple would practice a "nanny-free" environment for their firstborn son. It was said that they would be having the duchess' mother, Doria Ragland, to take care of Archie, especially when they are out doing their royal duties.
