Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have taken another major step in their relationship: moving in together. Though they now live under the same roof, the couple doesn't seem to be in a rush to make their relationship legally binding.
The Voice judges recently purchased a home in Los Angeles, and they are now living on it with Stefani's three children. Reports said the family is happier than ever in their new home as Shelton is more than willing to assume the role of a second father figure to Gwen's kids.
As soon as news about Gwen and Blake's moving in their new home hit the headlines, many are expecting that a wedding will soon follow. However, a source told Hollywood Life the couple is still not in a rush to do that.
"They're very content with the status of the relationship and neither feels the need to get married anytime soon. However, nobody would be shocked if they did get engaged soon," the insider said.
The No Doubt frontwoman and Shelton first met in The Voice. They started dating in November 2015, shortly after they split from their respective partners, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, respectively.
Since then, their fans have been closely watching their actions to find clues that would suggest if the couple is about to announce their engagement or if they already secretly married. So far, Gwen and the "God's Country" singer have yet to announce an engagement or a wedding.
Back in June, Blake addressed persistent wedding rumors. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the country crooner said he and Gwen are very happy about what they have at the moment. He also assured their fans that they wouldn't be reading their wedding announcement in tabloids.
The couple recently celebrated the Thanksgiving along with Gwen's kids at Blake's ranch in his home state, Oklahoma. The "Used to Love You" singer shared videos of their celebration while her son, Apollo, revealed in one of the clips that they will have "Funyon turkey" for dinner, and it will be prepared by Blake.
Meanwhile, Gwen gushed about how her boyfriend impresses her family during their first visit to Oklahoma. During her recent guesting at The Kelly Clarkson Show along with Shelton and fellow The Voice judge John Legend, Stefani shared how her boyfriend pulled a big tree that is blocking the road. Gwen said her city-dwelling family was completely amazed by Blake's ruggedness.
"He has, like, a big chain and he pulls it out. He wraps it around the tree, and my whole family is, like, 'Oh my God, he's a man!'" Gwen said.
