A few weeks ago, many royal fans and supporters were shocked upon learning that Kate Middleton and Prince William "confronted" BBC host, Greg James, when he visited the Kensington Palace. As it happened, the confrontation was revealed to be about his comments made toward Princess Charlotte in his morning show on the network.
As per reports, Greg James "offended" the Cambridge couple when they heard about his statements. This happened during the princess' first day of school last September when she smilingly shook hands with her teacher.
The BBC host rhetorically asked, "who shakes hands with teachers on their first day of school?" which he deemed as funny and harmless at first. This is why he was shocked when Kate Middleton and Prince William "confronted" him when he visited Kensington Palace, along with Camilla Cabello and the rest of the Radio 1's Teen Heroes.
According to Express UK, Greg James was the one who revealed what happened between the time he made the comments up to the confrontation. Even so, he assured that all is well now between him the Cambridge couple.
But, this did not stop royal analysts and experts from stating their opinions about the matter. Based on the publication, royal analyst and body-language expert, Emily Wysock-Wright shared that Kate Middleton's being "maternal" was the reason why the confrontation happened.
She described the Duchess of Cambridge as the "most maternal," which is why she is "protective" of her kids. Correspondingly, it only made sense why Kate Middleton felt the need to talk to Greg James when she heard the comments he made toward her child.
On another note, though, BBC News reported, later on, that Greg James further revealed what happened after the confrontation. Quite surprisingly, he told on Camilla Cabello about her exploits inside the Kensington Palace during their visit.
As revealed by Greg James, the Señorita singer stole a pencil inside the palace. Camilla Cabello spoke on the matter that it was a "dare" made by the BBC host to which she just complied.
The whole exploit was shared on the network's official Twitter account. As per the same publication, Kate Middleton and Prince William replied to the tweet using their official account on the platform. The response was a mere "eye emoji," which many have described as a "watchful eye" over Camilla Cabello.
Some experts, though, shared that the pencil has insignificant value. However, it may cost more than £1000 after a few decades, especially now that the pencil has become an infamous iconic item for the royals.
