The Resident season 3 episode 9 aired on Tuesday night, Dec. 3, on Fox, with the title "Out for Blood." In this episode, Conrad was in a difficult situation after a former patient files a malpractice lawsuit against him, and this could jeopardize his job.

Conrad is on the bad side of Red Rock, and many want him gone. In The Resident season 3 episode 9, Bell has to make a difficult situation: helping them get rid of Conrad or lose his position as the CEO. Conrad didn't go on Cain's bad side, and this put him on the bad side of the Red Rock as well.

However, they couldn't fire him just like that because of his father. But, when Rob Spiro arrives in The Resident season 3 episode 9, they finally have the opportunity to get rid of him. Rob is the patient Conrad "tortured" and he's back to file a malpractice lawsuit against him.

Conrad defended himself and said the pain medication could be withheld because of the respiratory issues of the patient. However, Rob talked about the pain he was in, and the lawyers barely asked him. Bell eventually realized that Logan is just using the situation to get rid of Conrad.

Bell contemplates what to do next. He wants to make Red Rock thinks he's on their side so he could save both his and Conrad's job. He stayed in the room for a moment while the staff was being asked about Conrad and his treatment of Spiro. The good thing is that the doctors didn't say anything against him.

It was eventually proved in The Resident season 3 episode 9 that Conrad didn't torture Rob, and the truth came out after Devon was asked. While he saw Conrad entering Rob's room, he made it clear that he didn't torture him.

Devon said Rob was in respiratory distress, and pain medication needed to be withheld. He then added that the patient is alive today because of Conrad. He also told Conrad that a lot of patients need him and that he made a decision he could live with.

And as for Bell, he resigned as the CEO, but he's still staying as chief of surgery -- thanks to bulletproof surgical contract. But while everything turns out good, it doesn't mean that both Bell and Conrad are safe. The new CEO is still unknown, and there'll be some major changes at Chastain.
