According to Hollywood Life, Niall Horan finally broke his silence about the rumors. In his recent interview with Australia's radio station, 90.9, the artist was "directly" asked about the dating rumors between him and Selena Gomez.
Based on his assertions, he primarily responded with "do I have a girlfriend" question, which he seemingly directed to himself, before actually answering the real question in the interview. Unfortunately for the well-wishers of the Niall-Selena couple, he said that he does not have a girlfriend. As it happens, he is "very much single" right now.
He then moved forward to share his "annoyance" and disappointments toward the media. As per his claims, it has been very difficult nowadays to be "friends with females," because this only starts "dating rumors."
Niall Horan also explained that it does not matter whether he is "seeing someone" or just a friend of him. This is because, in the eyes of the media, he is going out with all of them.
In the end, the artist described the situation as "very annoying." But, he cleared out all the rumors about him and Selena Gomez. As added by him, he conceded that he is focused right now on his career.
However, Niall Horan did not close the doors for having a girlfriend in the future. If "it" comes to you, then "fair enough," he concluded.
