CL made her long-awaited comeback with the release of the music videos of the two songs in her new album, In The Name of Love. This will be CL's first album in three years since she released Lifted and after she left YG Entertainment last month.

CL's new songs "+DONE161201+" and "+REWIND170205+ will be the first to be released from her upcoming album which contains a total of six tracks. The K-pop artist is set to drop two songs each week over the next two weeks.

Lee Chae-rin, better known as CL, has revived the good old days of 2NE1 in the MVs of "+REWIND170205+" and "+DONE161201+." Both clips, which reportedly edited by CL herself on her phone, featured the memories she had with her former bandmates Minzy, Park Bom and Sandara Park. It gives Blackjacks the nostalgic feel of 2NE1 glory days. But most importantly, fans are getting the vibe that the singer could be hinting a possible 2NE1 reunion album.

The "+DONE161201+" MV feature people singing along to the song. The "+REWIND170205+" MV, on the other hand, mainly has the throwback photos of CL and her 2NE1 members. Aside from the snaps, what struck the fans the most is the lyrics of the song. Towards the end of its MV, CL sings "let's go back" while showing a photo of the quartet.

The K-pop female group had reunited in May to celebrate their 10th anniversary. It was the first time in years that the four members were seen in public together. The group got together to have dinner and they did live-streamed part of it.

The members later shared some photos of themselves during their small gathering and get emotional on Instagram. They posted handwritten messages commemorating the anniversary.

2NE1 debut in May 2009 with their single "Fire." They broke records during the peak of their fame. They became the first Korean act to break into the Top 100 of the Billboard 200 with their Crush album in 2014.

2NE1 last performed publicly together at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards, where they gave what is now considered at one of the most iconic performances at MAMA. The group formally disbanded in 2016.

Minzy left YG in 2016. Park Bom was released from her contract in November of the same year. CL left the label last month. Dara is the only one left in YG but the singer/actress recently said she had quit her role at YG as its PR director.

"I quit after 2ne1's disbandment. I only work for my girls," Dara replied to a fan who asked for confirmation if is she is no longer working for YG.
