Many are not aware that K-pop stars Sandara Park and JooE of MOMOLAND are good friends. The two have shown off their close friendship in several photos they took while filming a show in Myanmar.

Dara and JooE are, currently, in Myanmar to film their upcoming TV show My Music Teacher, Mingalarbar along with their co-stars Yoon Do Hyun, Yoo Jae Hwan, and B1A4's Sandeul. JooE first posted a photo of her and Sandara on MOMOLAND's official Instagram account.

"I really like Dara unnie," she simply captioned the photo.

Later that day, Dara also took to Instagram and share a snap of her and JooE. She also posted some photos with the rest of the My Music Teacher, Mingalarbar cast.

"Beautiful sunset of Bagan, Myanmar with my new friends," she wrote.

This is not the first time the two worked on the same show. Dara and JooE both appeared in MBC's Real Men 300 last year where they struck a friendship.

Meanwhile, aside from filming a TV show, Dara is also set to host the upcoming Rainbows in Asia Music Festival on September 21 in the Philippines. The concert will feature K-pop groups WINNER, MAMAMOO, AB6IX, Oh My Girl, Dara's former 2NE1 bandmate Park Bom, and Fil-Am K-pop singer Kriesha Chu.

As for MOMOLAND, the group is heading back to the Philippines for an event, titled Good Friends in Manila. The group's agency, MLD Entertainment, announced that MOMOLAND decided to donate the proceeds of the event to Filipino children who are in need.

JooE and her MOMOLAND bandmates Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, Ahin, Nancy, Daisy, and Taeha first visited Manila in August 2018. They also returned earlier this year.

Good Friends in Manila will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on October 5. Former Wanna One members Kim Jaehwan and Ha Sungwoon will also perform at the event. MOMOLAND is expected to sing "Pinky Love" from their newly released Japanese album, titled Chiri Chiri.

Only six members -- Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy -- were featured in the new album. Members Daisy, Taeha, and Yeonwoo did not participate in the new album. Hence, it is also expected that they will not join the group in the upcoming event in the Philippines as well.

In March, MLD Entertainment announced that Taeha and Daisy would be taking a break from group activities due health and personal reasons. Last month, the agency denied rumors that Yeonwoo is leaving the group after skipping group schedules. At the time, MLD said the reason why Yeonwoo did not participate in MOMOLAND's activities is that she is busy filming a new K-drama.
