A collaboration between BTS member Suga and American singer Halsey, titled "Suga's Interlude," has been dominated the streaming platforms and breaking records. It garnered almost three million streams on Spotify on its first day and has been topping iTunes as well.

Halsey and the BTS rapper dropped their new song, "Suga's Interlude," on Friday. It features Halsey singing the emotional song while Suga is rapping in Korean. Fans praised both artists for their work. The song was penned by the BTS songwriter/producer, Halsey, and Lido.

The "Without Me" singer shared the audio for the song on YouTube alongside a backdrop of kidlike scribbles. So far, it has over five million views on the site.

After 24-hours on Spotify, "Suga's Interlude" also raked nearly three million streams on the platform, making it the biggest debut for a Korean act on site. BTS leader RM is in third place with his "Seoul Town Road" with 1.2 million streams.

The song also debuted on Spotify Global Top 50 at No. 44. This is the first song ever by a Korean soloist to debut in Top 50. It also topped iTunes in at least 54 countries including the United Kingdom, France, India, Argentina, Brazil, Sweden, Portugal, Hungary, and Russia.

Halsey and Suga were able to celebrate the success of their new song at the 2019 Jingle Ball show in Los Angeles over the weekend. The "Graveyard" singer joined BTS on stage during the group's performance of "Boy With Luv." Halsey also shared on her social media account a photo of her and Yoongi backstage.

This is Halsey's second collaboration with BTS. The two previously teamed up on the hit song "Boy With Luv" which is the lead track in BTS's most recent album Map of the Soul: Persona. "Interlude" will be included in Halsey's upcoming new album, titled Manic, that is set to drop on January 17, 2020.

Meanwhile, a new album could also be expected from BTS next year. During the group acceptance speech for being the Group Of The Year by Variety's Hitmakers, RM confirmed that they are currently working on a new album which will be released in 2020.

The announcement came after BTS performed at the 2019 Jingle Ball show in Los Angeles and winning all major awards in two major award-giving bodies in Korea and Asia.
