A few months ago, royal fans and supporters celebrated another milestone in the lives of the York family. As it happened, Princess Beatrice got engaged with her boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. While there is no specific date yet when the union will be, it has been noted that it is expected to happen in 2020.
With a few days now remaining for the current year, many individuals cannot help but wonder about the details of the upcoming wedding. It is not surprising at all, considering that this might be the last "significant" royal wedding that the public will witness in the next few years or even decades.
According to Express UK, the queries about the details started upon the announcement of Princess Beatrice's engagement in September. One of the most apparent topics included pop star James Blunt's attendance to the said royal event.
Based on reports, the I Told You singer was present in Princess Eugenie's and Prince Harry's weddings. While this caused many royal fans to question his links to the royal family, it became the basis why several individuals consider James Blunt as a significant person to the younger royals.
No confirmations have been given yet if the singer will be performing or attending Princess Beatrice's wedding next year. But, in a recent interview, the pop star seemingly did not "rule out" a live performance in the said 2020's royal event.
As per his statements, he is "available" for anyone's wedding to hire, "after all." Nevertheless, he still did not clear it out if he will be attending or performing. So, some details about the wedding might be a surprise.
The reports continued to share James Blunt's established links to the young royals. As per assertions, the 45-year-old singer-songwriter has been pals with Prince Harry as he also served with him in the army. This largely explains his attendance to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's union last year.
As for his links to the Princesses of York, James Blunt and Princess Eugenie have been close since 2009 after meeting through a "mutual friend" in Ibiza. The princess even attended his wedding to Lady Sofia in 2014, which explains why he and his wife were invited to Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank.
Now, it will no longer be a surprise if James Blunt will attend and perform in Princess Beatrice's upcoming wedding as well.
